Moderated Content

Please be mindful that all content on this site is moderated and is community-policed by members who can vote for/against your content and can also report anything inappropriate. Any inappropriate posts will be removed and repeat offenders will be banned. This is a nice website, with nice people, who promote the open sharing of wholesome ideas.

Shared Responsibility

Communication is a shared responsibility, both by the author and reader.  An author of a post or update should consider the potential audience and how it could be received, not just their intentions in writing it.  Readers should likewise consider the background of the author and theirintention of the content, and not just value it based on their reactions to it.

Sites Rules

1. Play nice.  This is friendly community with the intention of the open sharing of information from people of different backgrounds, faiths, religious belief or practices.  If you remain in a kind, sharing and receptive space we should all have a nice time.
2. Members receiving too many ‘down votes’ or ‘inappropriate flags’ will be warned 3 times and then their account will be banned if the behaviour continues.
3. Members have the right to ‘down vote’ or report abuse using the ‘inappropriate flag’ on any content they feel offended by or that they feel may offend others.
4. Please be mindful this is for a worldwide audience and should be written to be inclusive, embracing and accepting of other faiths and views.  Any comments that my/our way, religion or spiritual practice is the only right way is being judgemental and is not accepting.  Members have the right to flag these comments/posts as inappropriate.
5. No 18+ content is allowed.  If you are unsure, don’t post it.
6. Any content that receives ‘down votes’ or ‘inappropriate flags’ will be reviewed by site administrator or moderators and could be removed.
7. Gross breaches of inappropriate content will result in immediate banning of the users account and removal of the content.
8. Any posting, spamming or marketing of any kind by members that are not Major Supporters or Authors could be removed if it is not in some way beneficial to The Moment of Peace audience.  If unsure please write to the @dean before posting the content.  To avoid your content being removed, consider writing some content of value to the reader and leave your contact details at the end.
9. Any decisions made by the site administrators or moderators is final.
