Silence calms your heart. It is a balm that heals the wounds of the soul. It strengthens the spirit and takes you to a world without sound where peace reigns.

Behind all creation there is silence. Silence is the vital ingredient for all creative activity and unless we know how to enjoy moments of silence we can become people always doing rather than always being.

There is no need to go to India or anywhere else to find peace. You will find that deep place of silence right in your room, your garden or even your bathtub.

Dear Event Organisers, It is relatively easy to organise a group event for The Moment of Peace. Some people think BIG, book out a hall, park, church or chapel and then put on a few nibbles for people and sometimes everyone to contribute a dollar or two each to cover the costs. Other people just open the front doors of their house and invite people in their community to come and join them. Either way here are a few helpful things to get started: 1. Add you location to our world map – once you’ve decided on a location add it to our map so others can find you. 2. Get our posters to put up in your local area to promote the event or to put up at your venue to make it look professional. 3. Lastly, use mechanisms to spread the word. Typically people share to their mailing lists or on Facebook or Twitter. If there is anything else you need, please feel free to create a new topic and we can all chat about it. Cheers |
