Circle of drummers started its activity as an Israeli Djembe ensemble in 1997, offering a unique musical and cultural experience to the Israeli audience. Its uniqueness is expressed in interactive and spontaneous participation of the audience in singing, drumming and dancing. This musical experience is led by the circle of drummer’s members, unfolding 18 African wooden drums (Djembe) in a circle, for an unforgettable exciting drumming session!

Circle of drummers was established to create a way of understanding & cooperation between people, sending a message of peace and unity between all religions and cultures. During the drumming session, the singing, drumming and dancing together in a circle, creates harmony & excitement and leads to a common spiritual experience. The joint activity relieves tension, allows self expression, calms and creates hope. This “togetherness” can be used as a starting point for future cooperation between varieties of people.
